A Reader was at Turner Falls last weekend and snapped a couple pics of the "rock castle buildings".  I think the sign out front has Mr. Collings name spelled wrong.  Maybe someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Last weekend we received 5 inches of rain according to our rain gauge south of Lone Grove.   I still can hardly believe it, since most places in the area got around 2 or 3 inches of rain.  But that's what our rain gauge showed.  The rain helped a lot with the drought conditions here in southern Oklahoma, but still need a LOT more.

I now have all my oklahomahistory.net webpages and files transferred to the new web hosting service.  If anyone finds a bad link or problem, let me know.

After last week's T&T and me reporting the wood pallet shed was almost finished, Jill and I decided to add an addition on to it.  The roof is hinged and can be raise up to walk inside when needed.  Jill has been busy putting shelves inside it so store oil and stuff.

"Butch, here is a old train in downtown Hugo, Oklahoma and the old train station.  This engine was the same kind as the Texas Chief that pulled the passenger train back in the 50's and 60's."  -Doug

I am going to submit this to my company as a weekly safety tip." -Doug  (video)
