My family moved into this house around 1974. The house was originally red. My father, Cecil Stout Jr., enclosed the porch and shingled the entire house with gray shingles.
This photo was taken shooting West. Immediately to the right of this picture is the old highway. Across the highway is the old schoolhouse. Way in the background, mid-photo is the outline of the old 2-story house which had the storm shelter we all used. That old house is just north of the Russett Church.
