Floyd S. 'Blue' Jackson

• TISHOMINGO -- Services for Floyd S. "Blue" Jackson, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Dave Bucher officiating.

Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home. Jackson was born July 13, 1929, at Russett, Okla., to George W. and Lindsay Smith Jackson. He died Jan. 12, 2000, in Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Blue served with the 45th Division during the Korean War and after he was discharged, returned to Tishomingo and graduated from high school. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Fred "Jack" Jackson and Geronimo "Boots" Jackson; and a sister, Daisy Conrad.

He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Scott; and granddaughter, Carmen Scott, both of Seminole; six sisters, Lela Paschal and Mildred Price, both of Shawnee, Minerva Hawkins of Nicoma Park, Selena Jones of Del City, Catherine Jean Severns of Midwest City, and Davalyn Long of Oklahoma City; two brothers, James Jackson of Lexington, and John Jackson of Wagner; also many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
