• MADILL -- Services for Clarence William McDonald, 88, formerly Mannsville, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Watts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Tom Franks officiating.

Interment will follow at Lone Cedar Cemetery.

Born Jan. 2, 1911, at Magazine, Ark. to Alvin and Ruth Pridmore McDonald, he died Dec. 30, 1999, at his Shawnee residence. He married Eva Green Aug. 11, 1934. She preceded him in death Sept. 4, 1999.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Ruth McDonald and a son-in-law, Fred Blancett Jr. Raised at Magazine, he moved to Marlow in 1930 and to Sulphur in 1932.

In 1938 he moved to Mannsville. He moved to Shawnee in 1995. He was a farmer-stockman. McDonald was a member of Russett Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. Clarence and Eva had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 11, 1999.

Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Corretta Blancett, Shawnee; grandchildren, Fred, William and Barbara Blancett, both Shawnee; and great-grandchildren, Brian and Bob, both Shawnee. Bearers are Jimmy Potter, William Allen, Wayne Easterwood, Joe Ballard, Wayne Houser, Bill Dorer, Holland Jester, Willie Lowry and Max Jones.
