Fred Chapman, Sr. had this building moved from Randolph to Russett. It was used for many things. At one end was a feed mill to grind feed for cattle. The Wilcox's lived in the other end around 1938 -1939.

Bacholer cowboys that worked for Chapman lived in this Bunkhouse. It also served as the "business" headquarters. This is where we met on Saturday afternoons for Warren Jones to write our paychecks.

These boxcars served as storage facilities and some were converted into homes for Chapman hirehands. Thomas Wilcox was born in such a boxcar on June 19, 1936
