Russett Hits The Internet

Today a website was established to gather and share information about this community in southern Oklahoma.

November 25, 2006 -- An Internet website hosted through the courtesy of the Red River Internet Services is established.  The webmaster for this website (www.russett.info) is Larry Wilcox.  Larry is a former resident of Russett.  He grew up in Russett and remembers the tough times of the dust bowl depression days.  He says he is delighted to be the webmaster for this site and asks that everyone take a part in adding and updating material to the site.  We hope to make this site a museum showplace where we have a repository of memories, photos, etc to share with the world.  This community has a rich history and its story needs to be told.  With everyone's help, we can tell that story says Wilcox.
