Weldon's Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wayne Weldon, Madill, marked their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 4, 2006. They were married on Nov. 4, 1956, in Russett.

Ernest Wayne worked many years in the soda pop and theater businesses and retired from Carmike Theaters. LaTrelle was employed at Jefferson Elementary before she retired from the Ardmore Public School System.

The couple have three children, Ronda, Jeffery and Randy. There are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
